Azusa Itagaki

is a Japanese gravure model and AV idol.
==Life and career==
Itagaki was born on November 23, 1988 in Niigata, Japan. She debuted as a finalist in the 2004 ''All Japan High School Girl Uniform Collection System'' gravure contest, also known as ''Seikore'' (制コレ). In 2005, she debuted in a swimsuit gravure video, ''Cotton Candy'', produced by Line Communications and filmed in Bali.
In August 2007, she opened her official blog, , and, in September 2007, she announced her switch from gravure modeling to AV, signing an exclusive contract with the label Soft On Demand (SOD).〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://blog.livedoor.jp/azusa3xxx/archives/51048154.html )〕 Her debut movie for SOD, ''Entertainer Azusa Itagaki Debut'', was released in November 2007.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://xxx.xcity.jp/avod/detail/?id=24774 )〕 Despite her late start, Itagaki was one of the most popular AV actresses for the year 2007, ranking at #6 on the list of 100 best selling actresses at the video retailer DMM (part of the Hokuto Corporation). She was listed in the #10 spot at DMM for 2008, and, after a year at SOD, columnist Kemuta Ōtsubo considered her to be the mainstay of the company. In 2009, she ranked at #70 on the DMM list, and she was nominated for the Best Actress Award at the 2009 Adult Broadcasting Awards.
Also in 2009, Itagaki starred in the erotic suspense V-Cinema release .
In 2010, Itagaki retired from AV. Her final work, , was released by Soft On Demand on 4 March 2010. After her retirement, she worked in a cabaret club in Tokyo, and she appeared at several public events. She came back into the adult industry in December 2012.〔
